The Lady Rangers kept the Rough Riders at arm's length for a majority of the evening on Tuesday, with their closest match being the first before they began to pull away. Many of the girls displayed impressive feats of athleticism that showed both their knowledge of the sport and their determination to win as they won by 12 and 8 points respectively over the course of the final two sets. Mariana Garcia and Addyson Whitson achieved the most kills of the evening at 11 and 10, with Kaci Wade following close behind with 6 kills and 33 assists. Femke Smits led in digs at a total of 16 and 2 aces alongside Lillian Quidachay with 15 digs and 2 assists, and Lila Yun recording 7 digs.
Friday, Oct. 4th, the Lady Rangers head to Aledo to take the court against the Bearcats.
