ED WILLKIE AND MARINE CREEK ATHLETES OF THE MONTH
Audrey Buchanan - Audrey is an incredibly hard-working student in the classroom and on the volleyball court. She is focused while at practice and works to implement the feedback that coaches give to her. She loves to learn the game, and her focus on following direction is earning her team points on the court. Audrey is also a great teammate; she leads by example and is constantly found doing what is asked of her. Great work Audrey, keep leading both in class and on the court.
WIlliam Van Dine - William is a 7th grader student-athlete on the cross-country team and was a part of the 7th Boys Zone Champions and Meet of Champions.
Allie Guerrero - Allie has been a great addition to our volleyball team this year! Allie is a true team leader and brings energy and encouragement to her teammates. She displays hard work on and off the court. Allie is a phenomenal defensive player and continues to improve each day and every day. Her dedication and hard work will take her far and we look forward to watching her in volleyball at the next level.
Zachariah Rios - Zachariah is currently the starting running back, middle linebacker, and plays on special teams for the Mustang football squad. Zachariah plays the game with immense heart and hustle. His hard work and determination are great qualities that every coaches loves to see in their athlete. We are proud to have Zachariah as our October Athlete of the Month.
Lila Rankin - Lila is the epitome of a student-athlete. Not only does she work extremely hard in the classroom, but as a Volleyball player and Cross-Country runner, she also strives to be the best. Her passion, positive attitude, and drive makes her an important piece of our Badger program.
Tripten Gregory - Tripten is a young man that loves to play football and is doing a great job in the sport!
Kiley Moore - Kiley has started the year off hitting the ground running (literally)! Kiley is a member of our cross-country team and has improved each week by setting personal goals and achieving them with each opportunity she gets. She is a hard worker and is very dedicated to all of her activities. Kiley is also a vital member of our volleyball team. She has quickly become one of our most consistent players and a true force at the net as a middle blocker! We are so proud of her hard work and dedication and can't wait to see how she continues to get better each week. The sky's the limit for Kiley and we're here for it, way to go Kiley!
Michael Hernandez - Michael is currently the starting quarterback for the Marine Creek 7th Grade A team. He is one of the team leaders and his hard work stands out among the group. Along with being a talented football player, Michael is also a straight A student. The Mustangs are proud to have him leading the way!
