The Lady Rangers fells short in a very tight match between Azle of Friday, sticking so close to the Hornets that the game had to be decided by tiebreaker. Both teams traded back and forth for domination over the court all night, never getting further than five points away from one another. Though the Lady Rangers are disappointed by the outcome, their performance throughout the evening showed both the Chisholm Trail work ethic and spirit. Mariana Garcia led the team with 20 kills, 23 digs, 1 block, and 1 service ace, with Maya Nalls and Abby Hudson adding to the kill count with 10 and 7 plays respectively. Lily Quidachay recorded an impressive 30 digs, followed by Kaci Wade with 23, Addyson Whitson with 16, and Femke Smits with 15.
Tuesday, Oct. 1st, the Lady Rangers take to their home court once again to face their district rival, the Saginaw Rough Riders.
