In a closely contested match on Saturday, Apr. 13 the Chisholm Trail Rangers battled until the end. The Rough Riders pulled ahead in the late innings to clinch a 3-2 win. With the score tied at two in the top of the eighth, Saginaw capitalized on a crucial run. Both teams showcased strong pitching performances throughout the game. Chisholm Trail initially took the lead in the first inning when Diego Hernandez's homer brought in two runs. Saginaw seized the opportunity to tie the game at two in the seventh inning following an error by Chisholm Trail. Hernandez led Chisholm Trail's offense with two RBIs, going 2-for-3 at the plate. Chisholm Trail is set to face North Crowley on Tuesday, April 16th, at 7 pm.
