Chisholm Trail hosted Crowley in a district showdown on Thursday, Mar. 28. Both teams had strong pitching performances, but it was the Rangers who emerged victorious with a narrow 1-0 win over the Crowley Eagles. Austen Govea took the mound for Chisholm Trail, delivering 21 outs. The breakthrough came in the bottom of the fourth inning, courtesy of a double by Cirillo Perez, putting the Rangers on the scoreboard. Perez led the team with a perfect two hits in two at-bats.
The Rangers will hit the road to face Trinity on Tuesday, Apr. 2, at 7 pm.
