In the final game of the EMS ISD Tournament and Senior Night, the Chisholm Trail Rangers battled Krum to a 4-4 tie. The game remained tightly contested, with a 1-1 tie in the bottom of the first inning. Although the Bobcats took a 4-1 lead in the third inning, Mason Wiggins's crucial single in the sixth helped the Rangers stage a comeback, ultimately tying the game.
Frank Hernandez was on the mound, pitching four innings, he surrendered five hits and four runs over four innings striking out three and walking two. Wiggins led the team with two hits.
The Rangers compete in the Northwest Tournament on Mar 7-9 before opening up district play at home against L.D. Bell on Mar. 12.
