The Rangers hosted Northwest on Tuesday, Feb. 27. Falling short of the win the Rangers showed resilience, making the score 6-3 in the second inning, but Northwest rallied in the ninth, scoring seven runs to secure the win. Pitcher Torry Rensing gave a solid effort, but it wasn't enough to hold off Northwest's late-game surge. Govea, Martinez, Alvarado, and Hernandez each contributed with a run for the Rangers.
As they regroup, Chisholm Trail gears up for more action at a tournament at home on March 1-2. The excitement continues on Senior Night, March 2, where they will honor their graduating seniors before the 5:30 pm game against Krum.
