The Rangers faced an intense Bi-District Basketball Playoff matchup against the Southlake Dragons on Tuesday, Feb. 20, in a thrilling back-and-forth contest. After a first quarter where Southlake took a 15-10 lead, the Rangers fought back, with KD Richardson's three-pointer capping the first half with Chisholm ahead 28-23. Despite Southlake winning the third quarter, the game remained tightly contested, resulting in a 51-51 tie at the end of regulation and heading into overtime. KD Richardson led the team with an impressive 28 points, Javon Smith contributed 15, Jesse Mutombo chipped in seven, Archange Mutombo added five and Jack Skinner had two. The Rangers secured a hard-fought 57-54 victory, advancing to the Area Playoffs for the second year in a row. Chisholm Trail travels to Abilene Wylie High School to take on Frenship on Friday, Feb. 23 at 8 pm.
