The Rangers concluded their regular season with a thrilling matchup against Boswell. Chisholm Trail took an early lead, extending it to nine points by halftime. Boswell made crucial shots, narrowing the gap and forced overtime with three successful free throws. In a fiercely contested game, both teams delivered big shots, but the Rangers emerged victorious, prevailing 61-57 in double overtime. The team was led by Javon Smith and KD Richardson with 19 points each. Jesse Mutombo added nine, Jack Skinner had seven, Harrison House contributed three and Ezzrin Lounds and Archange Mutombo chipped in two points each. Smith was recognized for surpassing 1,000 career points!
Chisholm Trail will face Southlake Carroll in the first round of the playoffs. The Bi-District game is set for Tuesday, Feb. 20 at Birdville High School at 7 p.m.
