Chisholm Trail cross country teams put out some impressive performances at the Southlake Invitational on Saturday, Aug. 26. In the Open division for the boys Elijah Norwood secured fourth place out of 454 runners and Xavier Mendez took the 71st spot. The entire boys team finished 28th out of 45 teams. For the girls team Teah Peeni claimed 32nd place while Katelynn Moore finished 38th in the Open division out of 328 runners. The girls team placed 17th out of 35 teams.
The Rangers will take a break for Labor Day weekend and return to compete on Saturday, Sept. 9 at the Northwest Invitational at Justin Community Park.
