The 6A Texas State Track and Meet held at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin on May 13 showcased extraordinary talent from high school students across the state. Chisholm Trail track and field senior, Hayden Norwich made his second appearance in the shot put event. Despite the challenges posed by weather delays, Norwich delivered an outstanding performance, securing seventh place with a throw of 56'3.5". The future is bright for Norwich, who is committed to continue training and competing with the Abilene Christian University track team. "My time at Chisholm has been amazing with the support system that the coaches have given me over the years," said Norwich. "They’ve given me tremendous help year in and year out. Now with me finishing my high school career, I plan on throwing for ACU next year and I can’t wait to get started." Congratulations Hayden!
