The Chisholm Trail Lady Rangers competed at the district 3-6A golf tournament at Cleburne Golf Links on March 27-28. On day one Chisholm Trail was in fifth place shooting a 419. Ella Barton was the low scorer for the team with a 79. The Lady Rangers struggled with the high winds on day two and shot a 432 that moved them to sixth place. Barton finished round 2 with an 80 becoming the individual district champion by three strokes. She is the first female district champion in school history. Barton advances to the regional tournament at Tangle Ridge Golf Club in Grand Prairie on April 17-18. Good luck Ella!
