The Chisholm Trail Rangers opened their home season with a win against the Aledo Bearcats on Tuesday, Nov. 15. Chisholm Trail led 18-15 after the first quarter and pushed it to 36-25 at the half behind 15 points from Javon Smith and eight from Onyekachi Ijeoma. The Bearcats were no closer than eight the rest of the game as the Rangers improved to 1-2 on the season. Smith led the Rangers with 18 points followed by Ijeoma with 17 points. Kelton Coleman contributed 13 points while Jordan Dews had eight points and Chandin Davis added two.
Chisholm Trail's next three non-district games will be at home. First, they take on Abilene Copper on Friday, Nov. 18 at 6 p.m. They will host Arlington Heights after the Thanksgiving break on Tuesday, Nov. 29 and Eastern Hills the following Tuesday, Dec. 6. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. for both games.
