Tennis was a fantastic way to enjoy the warm weather last Friday, Chisholm Trail going head-to-head against their district-mates in the spring EMS Tournament. In all of the divisions, the guys and guys played like pros, placing highly in all of the events in which they took part. Loea Andres and Cody Chaloupek took gold in the Mixed A Doubles, and Angelina Griffiths and Aidan Helms scored 2nd in the Mixed B Doubles. In the Boys Doubles events, the pairs of William Stine and Carter Dix, and Jacob Michael and Marcelo Elgueta won 1st and 2nd respectively, while Girls Doubles pairs Melanie Hernandez and Caitlyn Hicks place 4th and Audrey Stine and Ashley Choi took home 3rd. Graysen Gibson was the lone man in the singles division to place, bringing back a shiny 1st place medal by the end. The great performances were a fine cap off to a day of pleasant weather. Way to go, Rangers!
The boys and girls will be on the road Thursday, March 13th, for the Arlington Sequin Tournament.
